Biography

Born and raised in the coastal city of Šibenik, she has cultivated a strong connection to the Mediterranean landscape and way of life. For over two decades, she has been living and working in Zagreb, where she has established herself as a graphic designer. She has been running her own design studio, Utopia, and she is a member of the Croatian Design Society.

Her creative practice goes beyond graphic design, as she has consistently woven art into every facet of her life. She edited the visual culture magazine Tinted and led the art association Arthesis. Her passion for photography led her to study technique of camera obscura under the guidance of renowned Croatian photographer Josip Klarica, immersing herself in a world where light, shadow, and time converge. This experience deepened her appreciation for traditional photographic techniques and the slow, meditative process of creating images. She later expanded her knowledge by enrolling in the photography school Drugi kadar, where she studied contemporary photography under the mentorship of photographer Davor Konjikušić.

In recent years, her focus has shifted towards drawing and painting, where she finds joy in creating intimate, small-format works. She experiments with various techniques, including watercolors, acrylic and ink. Through these smaller formats, she continues to explore the delicate balance between simplicity and complexity, combining her design sensibility with a fine art approach. Lately, she has also been learning about printmaking, and creates graphics with linocut print.
